The Hearts & Hooves horses join our family in a variety of ways; sometimes they are rescued by us, other times they are rescued by other indivduals and brought to us, on some occasions we will provide homes for horses for families who can no longer care for them, and we also have a few little ones who came from wonderful loving homes, each one of our little horses has a story to share.
Hearts &Hooves believes in respecting each one of the horses we have as indivduals and as such we work closley with them to determine what they wish for themselves. Not all the horses who join Hearts & Hooves become therapy animals, many will be up for adoption in hopes of finding them a loving forever home, and some will remain with us through the end of their days.

Hearts & Hooves does not breed any of the minis, we in fact work with our wonderful Veterinarians from Westwind Veterinary Hospital and look to geld the little boys shortly after arrival. Each and every horse here at Hearts & Hooves recieves special one-to-one care to meet their individual needs and health concerns under the guidance of our Vets and our farriers.
