Hearts & Hooves is eternally grateful for all the help that has been provided by West Wind Veterinary Hospital Ltd. Just recently they helped us rescue two more horses (see below).

West Wind Veterinary Hospital Ltd. opened in July, 2003. We are a full service equine hospital located east of Sherwood Park, Alberta, in the heart of horse country.

Our 10,000sq. ft. facility features a fully equipped sugery suite with a viewing window and padded recovery rooms. Our radiology room houses an overhead 300 mA x-ray unit with an automated processor. We also have a spacious stock room and an inhouse laboratory. There are two complete isolation units, as well as our hospitalization stalls, and our patients can enjoy our outdoor turn-out paddocks.

In addition to our in-hospital facilities, our field veterinarians are mobile and fully equipped to visit your barn.

Jodie Santarossa and Josh Ramsay performed the surgeries on our horses, Jodie is also on our Board of Directors and their clinic donates all vet services to Hearts and Hooves.
