Roxy (Roller)

ROXY (ROLLER)

Roxy joined us Hearts & Hooves in April of 2006 as Rosie, but we just couldn't have a Grandma Rosie and a Rosie so we thought long and hard...she is surely Roxy (Roller). Roxy was donated to Hearts & Hooves from Tracey Hart, a well known Miniature horse breeder in our area. Tracey felt Roxy was too small to breed and wanted to find her a home where she knew Roxy would not be breed, as well Tracey wants very much for her horses to have a home where they will be loved and appreciated.

Roxy is a tiny little girl full of spunk, but is definitely a love bug. Roxy was so eager to please and be loved when she first came. Being so small and new to the herd we took a lot of time introducing her to her new family, she often made as laugh as she would run out and sniff another horse and then quickly nip them and run away as if to say 'come play'.

Roxy has come to love her new home and she is a superstar on visits. Roxy has a big heart despite her small body. Roxy has really taken to the kids that volunteer and is always the first to greet me at the gate. We know she will be very happy here at Hearts & Hooves.
